L’ELIANA TOWN HALL CASE STUDY:
Innovation and sustainability through the installation of smart lockers
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCALITY
L’Eliana is a municipality located within the Valencian Community and belonging to the province of Valencia. Its current population is just over 19,000 inhabitants.
The municipality boasts a rich architectural and natural heritage, making it a great destination for rural tourism.
WHAT PROBLEM NEEDED TO BE RESOLVED?
The L’Eliana Town Hall focused on boosting the municipality’s economy by promoting local commerce, seeking various alternatives to achieve this goal.
Community Locker proposed the installation of smart lockers at different points throughout the municipality as an innovative and sustainable measure to boost the local economy.
WHAT WAS THE SOLUTION PROVIDED BY COMMUNITY LOCKER?
As mentioned, two smart locker modules of different sizes were implemented, featuring a special phenolic casing to cover and protect the structure due to their outdoor locations at different points throughout the municipality.
Additionally, the lockers were customized with the colors and logos required by the Town Hall.
Here we can see the smart locker at one of its two locations (next to the Market):

Thus, the Valencian municipality now has a new asset in favor of its economy, and with it:
✅ It features a centralized 24-hour drop-off and pickup point for purchases
✅ It stimulates the local economy
✅ It improves the work-life balance for residents with inflexible schedules
✅ It enables businesses to make their products available beyond opening hours and prevents failed deliveries
✅ It reduces the technological gap with the big city
