How to support local commerce with a smart locker

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCALITY

Torre Pacheco is a municipality located in the Region of Murcia, just 8 km from the beaches of the Mar Menor. With a population of just over 40,000, it is the sixth most populous municipality in the entire Autonomous Community.

Boasting a great climate and natural landscapes of great beauty, it is an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway for anyone looking for quality rural tourism.

WHAT PROBLEM NEEDED TO BE RESOLVED?

As part of its strategy to boost the local economy, the Torre Pacheco Town Hall set out to find alternatives to promote local commerce while helping residents balance their professional and personal lives. All of this was framed within the KATARSIS Project, which aims to regenerate and boost the commercial area of Torre Pacheco.

Consequently, they contacted Community Locker to achieve this goal through the installation of smart lockers at the entrance of the town hall itself, in an area easily accessible to all its residents.

WHAT WAS THE SOLUTION PROVIDED BY COMMUNITY LOCKER?

After studying the case, Community Locker proposed the implementation of a 3-column smart locker featuring various small and medium sizes, along with a phenolic material casing to protect the structure against weather conditions such as rain, given its outdoor location.

Additionally, total customization was carried out regarding the screen printing requested by the Torre Pacheco Town Hall, featuring highly meaningful messages such as “The New Heart of Torre Pacheco,” “Shop, Collect, and Enjoy,” or “Sustainable, Accessible, and Digital.”
